Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Jonnathan Truong
As Co-President & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Jonnathan oversees all marketing and creative efforts, including sales, design, copywriting, illustration, and video.
Jonnathan graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Studio Arts – Graphic Communications in 2003. Upon graduation, he started his professional career as an intern at Croxson Design before starting Zin Design Studio. Jonnathan operated his studio for multiple years, creating for many large entities including ExxonMobil, H-E-B, Lakewood Church, and other oil and gas companies. His career pivoted after the oil and gas industry crashed, transitioning Jonnathan to return to Croxson Design as their Art Director where he worked for over three years before going in-house at Shell Oil & Gas, Vinson & Elkins, Mostyn Law, GC Services Limited Partnership, and O’Donnell/Snider Construction. As Jonnathan developed his writing skills at the above companies, his love for writing was awakened. Already an award-winning graphic designer while at Croxson Design and Zin Design Studio, his unique writing style and ability separated him from his peers as his career blossomed.
In 2019, Jonnathan published his first book, his autobiography titled Buddhists, Mormons & Jesus, which grew quickly in popularity. In addition to writing his own book, Jonnathan also designed the cover and the page layout. Following the publishing of his autobiography in 2019, Jonnathan and his wife, Olivia Truong, founded God Manifest Publishing to assist others in their journey to becoming authors.
Getting published shouldn’t cost you your entire life savings.
Did you know that new or little-known authors are sometimes required to commit to selling and/or purchasing 5,000 to 15,000 books their first year? And many publishers require their authors to purchase hundreds and hundreds of physical copies from the publisher while also reimbursing the publisher for their potential royalties of 20-45%? These hidden costs and mark-ups can literally break the bank for aspiring authors. These additional costs can easily accrue upwards of $15,000-$50,000+ in financial commitment and that is before paying for advertising and paying the publisher a large commission ranging from 20-45% of all sales.
