Uyen V., Art Director, Illustrator & Animator, and Jonnathan Truong, Co-President & CMO of God Manifest Publishing have worked together since 2004. Uyen holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston.
As a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Uyen provides creative direction for all titles, including cover design, illustration, animation, and page layouts.
As an illustrator and animator, Uyen is extremely diverse in her styles including digital, graphite, charcoal, pastels, oil paint, watercolors, and comic book style illustrations. On the weekends you will find playing the keyboard for a southern goth rock band, serving the homeless, and working as an advocacy ambassador for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for New York City.
Uyen is a jet setter and regularly travels all over the nation for work and pleasure. She is currently continuing her education, studying motion design and animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is learning from the legendary comic book artist Carl Potts, Marvel Comics.
